Wambold farm was established in 2000, providing a home base for talented horses and riders. Located in the heart of Hudson Valley horse country, Wambold Farm has over 100 acres fitted with miles of trails, paddocks, pasture, barns, and a training arena. We specialize in hunter, jumper, and polo horses, as well as offering turnout for retired horses. We provide full service board, training, and sales with a commitment to quality care. Wambold Farm is equipped to provide individualized attention to equine athletes and their owners, and local events provide opportunity for competition at top levels in multiple disciplines.

Since 2020 we have built up our market fruit and vegetable growing operation, as well as an apiary with honey bee hives in select locations on the farm. Observing bee colony collapse in 2019-2022 opened our eyes to the importance of pollinators and the many stresses they are facing. We are working to support pollinator health in various ways including reduction of pesticide use and native wildflower plantings. We see the interconnected nature of our food and land use systems on the health of the enviornment and its residents, and believe that supporting local farming operations can play a key part in helping to protect and improve these systems. We have various seasonal vegetables and herbs available on request, with plans to feature at local farmers markets in 2024, as well as providing ingredients to select local partner restaurants.
